I moved into the complex in June of this year and not a single month has gone by in which I have not had a signficant issue with the apartment (ranging from not having a functioning shower to having 2 refrigerators stop working, to having a non-functional thermostat. Currently there is a massive leak in my wall which has caused flooding (not drips, FLOODING) of my dining area more than once. To 'fix' the problem, maintenance has cut three large holes in my drywall, replaced the carpet padding and...that's it. The holes in the drywall remain and, worst of all, I have black mold growing in my apartment. Hello' That's a housing code violation. I haven't been living in my apartment for over a month (since I first noticed the mold) for health concerns. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Housing Code Compliance Bureau. My next step is to get a lawyer to get me out of my lease. I just can't do 6 more months here.
Management is horrible, maintenance is slow to non-existant, and everyone is always rude. Please, please, please, DON'T MOVE HERE. Ignore their posts on Craig's List about "Luxury Living" - I have yet to find a facet of luxury anywhere.

This hapenned to a tenant before and he got a Lawyer as well and they ended his lease. He later moved to Monroe Place. If you get a Lawyer, they will terminate your lease. They do not want to deal with the hassle. I lived here myself and as soon as the Conner group took over, everything went down hill really badly. This is the worst Management company and they can not keep anyone on a lease. Everyone moves once the lease has ended. I will never move into a property EVER again if ran by this outfit. They have no management skills what so ever. They do not care about the property and they hire just about anyone off the street as well as let just about anyone move in because no one else will. Its become so Ghetto and this is another reason why I left. I have friends that will be leaving soon as well. If you can get out, than do so ASAP. They have gone through management so quickly. The management in general is absolutely HORRIBLE. This is not a place that I would reccomend to anyone. I would never move in any of these properties that they own. The properties are not taken care of. And the Conner group does not care. All they care about is making money and considering that is all they care about, they are finally not making any money because everyone leaves. This used to be a nice place to live but now its really bad. So if you are reading these post, be smart and dont move here. You should be able to realize this once you step into the office and deal with the staff. They have no communication skills what so ever. This ia run down apartment complex and they are very cheap with any fixtures. They say they spent lots of money to paint the buildings however the paint job they did is absolutely horrible. They are cheap and this is why the place looks bad. There is so many other nice places that are the same amount of money once you add it all up and believe me, you will be happier some where else. The electric bill is high because the heat and Air conditioning goes right out the windows. The utility bill they have with the company they use is rediculous. By the time you pay your rent and utility bill and gas bill and electric, you will end up paying the same amount of money you could be paying for an actual LUXURY apartment at the Heights on Cheshire Bridge or even Monroe Place. Do not recommend this place to anyone. They will wish they never moved here.
