i can't say what i would have given to have known about this website before signing a lease at morningside courts. goes to show that, as modern american consumers- you are your only guardian and need to do as much research as possible
i had friends living here back in 2005 and they had a great experience living here, and on that reference i signed my lease. BELIEVE EVERY BAD REVIEW POSTED HERE! i was prorated for 5 days on a month before a typical lease during which i couldn't use my bathroom and had no heat. since then, the thermostat has been broken so that the heat is either on constantly or completely off. the shelving units in the closet have never been installed. everytime you turn on the microwave, the circuit breaker blows. the largest cabinet door fell off. i have been served with a final notice gas bill from a company that i don't even subscribe to. and don't EVER expect management to return a phone call, as i have left one every other day for the entire 2.5 months that i have lived here. the most i can get out of them is that they cannot fix the thermostat nor the cabinet door because they have to order parts for them.
i'm a recent grad and am unfortunately too cash poor to find another place to live immediately, which is unfortunate because i have friends in law that are more than willing to help me get out of my lease. hopefully some threatening phone calls from them may help my situation. i shudder to think of other problems that may arise in the coming 8 months. it amazes me that this people can get away with this quality of service.

I really do appreciate this review.I'm suppose to sign a lease next week. I wondered why the rent was so cheap,and I do agree about return calls from management.I would assume that this is really not a good place to live. Thxs

This place is not a good place to live. The management here is absolutely useless. The management company is absolutely useless. Everyone having problems should all get together and sue them. Make it a class action law suit. This management company needs a serious wake up call. I know lots of tenants here that are not happy. I used to live there too and I know this to be true back then. Walk around and ask every tenant to join a class action lawsuit. And make the management company pay for the fees after this is all said and done with.
