I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tonya Winter and I am the new business manager at Mount Vernon Place Apartments. As many of you are aware, Mount Vernon Place is now under new management. We are now owned and operated by Lane Company. I began my association with Lane Company approximately 6 years ago, and I was given the opportunity to manage this wonderful community October 1, 2003, and I too am a current resident here.
Since I believe that ?word of mouth? is the greatest source of advertising, I want to know that comments and opinions about Mount Vernon Place and our team. I am happy to hear that we are meeting the needs of many residents; yet, I see that some of the previous ratings were low. As the manager, I want to utilize negative feedback as a learning tool. I am confident that we take good care of good residents and we are always there to greet you with a smile. I do believe that I will never be able to please all of the people all of the time because, unfortunately, the manager also has to collect delinquent rent and charge fees for property damages. I understand that at some point in time, a resident may not be happy with all my decisions. My job consists of resident satisfaction to the community and I will strive to make your Mount Vernon Place the best place to call home.
I would like to inform every one of the upcoming changes that will be taking places in your community. Over the next year you will be seeing some beautiful exterior and interior renovations. The beautiful property that you know and love will only get better with some landscaping improvements, painting and many upgrades.
