Well, I have reviewed these comments and to be frank, I think the property is a pretty great place to live. I have been here for 4 years and yes I have seen some changes (not all good), but I think that it is a beautiful property and the staff is wonderful. I was promised a lot of things from prior management that was not lived up to.
I had a problem every time it rained my apartment would flood. After speaking to the new manager, she had someone out that very day to take a look at it and within 2 weeks a contractor was out and the problem is gone. To me, that is service. I know I was not the only person with that problem and I know I am not the only person who's problem is fixed.
I live in a apartment because I want service, I want certain needs met, and I don't want to have to worry about anything if something breaks. Mount Vernon Place meets all those needs are requirements.
