for twentysomethings, and tolerant thirtysomethings and up, I can't say enough about this place. I lived there from 1991 or 92 'til another tenant and I married and moved away in 1997. He loved it as much as I did. I lived in the older units, as well as a newer renovated unit. It is such an awesome place as a stepping stone out of college, I'd say. Definitely not your wall to wall carpet corporate type apt., but the rent is amazing and the architecture as well if that is important to you. If you like living in a Post property, don't live here. Otherwise you'll love it. Awesome night life and great place to meet people. Met some of my best friends here, and married one of them. We've all moved away, but stay in touch to this day. We called it "North High Ridge Place" after Melrose Place that was oh so popular at the time.

Not for the faint of heart, though! It is inner city living, not suburbia. Either it is perfect for you, or you will hate it and want to flee back to Buckhead. Actually, if you like Buckhead at all, you'll hate it here. Do people actually like Buckhead'

Noise level depends totally on which side you are on. North Ave. side: noisy. Blue Ridge Ave. side: silent. Bottom level of all bldgs: noisy. Top levels: quiet.
