I lived here for about a year in 04. Our unrenovated apartment was the same price as a renovated. The varnished floors were horribly done, i mean there were like nails, HAIR, human nails all under neath it and i was constantly finding it in and on everthing. My bedroom ceiling looked as if was detaching from the walls' My windows blew in cold air forcing me to stuff them with towels. I also felt at any time the porch was going to fall off. Was constantly awoke by bums digging through the dumpster and or neighbors doing it. Also, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you go to the bathroom to also her your neighbor upstairs using the bathroom as well. kind of gross and uncomfortable. kitchens are WAY TOO small in the unrenovated and there is NO storage, and the bedroom closets are about to 3x3 feet wide. seriously. The location is great and the leasing agent was super nice and understanding, but i would not recommend these to anyone. also, don't expect to live here comfortably with a roommate, you'll hear everything and then some.
