I have to say- as soon as people find out I live here- their brother, sister, ex-, friend or themselves has lived here at one point in time. The apartments have nice classic tall ceilings- with hardwood floors, and the location is great for me. I work in the area, and can actually ride my bike there or anywhere and walk to nearby bars/shopping/etc. And I had some problems when I was looking for an apt. finding a pet-friendly community- which I definitely live at now. And the porches are great for people-watching.

I would say the worst part can be parking lot- seems to fill up every night. During the day is fine- but I think people going to bars and restaurants nearby use it as well. But I guess it is the biggest parking lot in the area for apartments- and there is off- street parking located just as close as the parking lot itself.ANd maybe the closet space could be better- but their old! So you gotta make it work sometimes.

I think the maintainence/office staff is very quick to respond with problems- such as some leaks I had, and I needed a new doorknob/lock. I guess for the price you pay-and the location I think these apartments are a steal. But maybe for the right person- not everyone appreciates character.These definitely are not Post- or gables communities...
