Yes, there are roaches all over. On the sidewalks. On the parking lots. And sometimes indoors. (But Iām fighting it with roach baits, limiting my eating areas, putting food away and cleaning countertops daily. So far, Iām winning the indoor fight.) Yes, some of the residents won't take their 'hanging' indoors. Yes, the gates don't work. (Although they worked for about a week, until someone literally mowed down the code-box thingy.) Yes, management leaves much (very much) to be desired. Yes, maintenance cannot repair everything that needs repairing. (My ice machine has never worked. Ever.) The wiring and plumbing alone would require a full overhaul/makeover. (Remember last yearās fire''' Iād bet money that it was an electrical fire.) Yes, parking near certain complexes is very tight (Maybe assigned parking or parking stickers could help remedy that). Yes, there is a severe mold problem. (I keep a bottle of vinegar ready with a spray nozzle on it at all times. It stinks but it works. You spray it on the window sills real heavy and let it soak a few times. Then you have to keep wiping it down and eventually the mold goes away. Process took me about 2-3 weeks, but it's much better now.) And yes, you have to pay to use the clubhouse. (Ridiculous.) Yes, thereās no washer/dryers in most spaces.

However, the location is great (right off the expressway and near Sam's Club). The local schools are great. It's great for families with children who like to play outside (Thereās no bullies that I know of.). And when I first moved here the price was very right. ($599 Although theyāve raised it by a more than $200.) It's pretty spacious although there's not much indoor storage space, so you'll have to be very creative.

I'm afraid that with the recent price increase, several of the older, quieter, consistent, friendlier residents will move out, leaving room for rowdier residents.
I've never been robbed and my car hasn't been broken into yet (crosses fingers).
I don't swim, so the pool doesn't affect me. I've never used the gym, so I can't vouch for it either. I've used the tennis courts maybe 2 or 3 times and they're okay. They may want to repave it, though.
I wonder though... where are their newfound profits going''
