Expect dramatic increase in rent during lease renewal

Management increased our rent from $650 to $1000 over the course on only 1 year and a half. Managment spikes rents up at times of lease renewal and is inflexible in working with people who need to do reasonably-priced shorter-term leases when trying to purchase a home. Manager only goal seems to be getting as much money out of tenets as possible.
Manager is also very condesending to tenents, even those who pay rent on time, take care of apartments, and are quiet residents.
Air conditioning broke down twice in summer. Leaky roof eventually repaired but massive stain never fixed. Pool on property closed during most of summer.
We would not recommend this property.

This resident went on a month to month lease. It clearly stated on the renewal notice what the month to month rate would be. The resident asked me if he could do a 3 month renewal and I agreed and gave him a renewal rate lower than the month to month rate. The resident decided not to take that option after he talked with me and he remained on the month to month lease at the rate stated on the renewal notice.
Sincerely,
Wesley Jones
