I live in this complex for more than a year. When I just moved in, it was a good place to live - convenient location, green environment, friendly management, etc. The grass was cut on a regular basis, roads were clean, leaves blown away, the leasing office was like a home.

The management changed. The current leasing manager Allison is horrible team leader and I am surprised that this comlex is still surviving somehow. The leasing "advisor" position was open 2 or 3 times for the past 3 months.

You cannot call the office and get a direct response to your question. In the best case you just want to hang up or get out of the leasing office as soon as possible! It's horrible! The maintenance is the worst. My requests of 1 year have not been taken care of yet. The bathroom leaks - who cares'

THEY PAINTED THE BATHROOM DOORS ON TOP OF THE MOLD, so this mold is coming up and bleach does not help. Once again: no activity from the leasing office!

The grass is dull (never happened before when another office manager was here). The roads are dirty.

Somebody had a loud party of about 50 people outside with chairs, tables, microfones, music until 1 am in the morning! And there is nothing you can do. When asked, I was rudely answered "don't you understand that it is a Birthday party'!" No, I DO understand but not at 1am!

Parking is OK, my new car was hit and run by someone. My neighbor's, too.

PLUS: enormously high bills:

water - 80$
gas - 80$
what's that' I live by myself and travel often. Do I pay for the whole building'

PLUS: roaches live here like at home. No poison help when they come from dirty neighbors from upstairs or downstairs.

SMELL in the hallways!

AC is the worst and very loud.

Overall for the price of this apartment you better spend extra day and rent somewhere else. It's for your benefit! If there is no quality management, there is no order!

I am the manager. I have been here since November 2005. My leasing agent has been with the company 14 years. Some employees have moved around within the company. I have no idea what this resident is talking about. As far as pest control, when I arrived we had a company that was not very efficient. I got rid of them and hired a new company that is doing a fabulous job. Exterior renovations are ongoing. The roads were resealed and restriped last week. The flowers are still beautiful, even in this heat. Curb appeal is very important to us. As far as the birthday party...I know at one time I received a noise complaint about a birthday party that went on long hours, on the weekend, when I was not here. I never told anybody that it was just a birthday party and we didn't care. I don't believe anybody on my staff would relay that message. We take all complaints very seriously, and I have made several residents move due to continous complaints against them. As a representative of One Sovereign Place, I would like everyone's living experience to be a good one. Most residents would agree I am a very fair manager who is willing to work things out with almost any resident if given a chance, but I have never heard most of the complaints this resident is claiming. Then again, you usually only see disgruntled people on websites such as this. The happy residents refer their friends and family, and we get a lot of thanks. Again I am sorry that someone has not had a good living experience at our property, but in all fairness the lines of communication are always opened. As long as I am told what is going on I will do everything within my power to make a resident's living experience at One Sovereign Place as enjoyable as possible.
