Paces Station

I have a lot of mixed feelings about my experiences here at Paces Station. As I read a lot of what people had to say, I was a bit shocked at the comments/criticisms. I have lived on property for 3 yrs and I have not experienced a lot of what others are talking about. I am going to list the good and bad about the complex and you make you own decision about living here.
Good
1. Ideal location. I have access to I75 and I285. I am 15 minutes away from Buckhead,downtown and kennesaw.
2. Good price. I have a large 1 br. and I absolutely love it. I got a great deal on it. I hate to leave because I know it's such a great deal.
3. Quiet. I don't hear my neighbors. NEVER, EVER! We all look out for each other. I don't know if that's all over the complex but it is true for my building.
4. The leasing office staff is always willing to talk to me and get things done to keep me happy.This only includes a few people. Dont' listen to the other person about the black lady working there, she is great!( I think that person may have had a problem with her being black.)
5. There is only a small increase at the end of your lease. Most places put you back at market price.
6. Safe. I have forgotten my front door unlocked a few times and left my balcony unlocked (I have come home, the wind blew open my balcony door open, and everything is in tact.)

BAD
1. There are a lot waterbugs. That's a large roach if you don't know. It's not a roach but it's in the family. I see them all the time. It is very fustrating becase roaches grosses me out. But you get those everywhere.
2. Tennants allow their dogs to "go" right infront of the building and leave it there. I have complained to the leasing office but that does nothing. They send out a flyer to all the tennants but what is a letter going to do. In the summer it's disgusting. Can you imagine the smell. People who do that are fricking nasty.
3. Water is combined. Why am I charged the same rate a two individuals in a 1 bdrm? I am hardly ever home I am gone from 8- 6 sometimes 9 at night 5 out of 6 nights. I don't use 35-40 worth of water. I know I don't .
4. The Gate never works. Ever since I moved here they have had problems. Everyone know the code and the exit that's always open, does not make me feel like we are keeping people out of the property.
5. I am paying the same rate as two others in a 1 bdrm.........did I already say that!
6. You can hear the train at night. It is very loud and when you get into your apt. the 1st coupl e of nights you are freaked out. You get used to it though.
7. I stopped going to the leasing office, they hired a lot of new people who really don't care about the tennants they have. Thank god The south african chick is gone.
