The good and bad of it

The apartment floorplans are spacious and provide excellent storage for the price.

The area is quiet and for the most part the tennants are very respectful and the ones that I have got to know a little better are very nice.

The pools (once open) are kept much cleaner than other apartments although I only frequent two of the four and I hear the last entrance's pool is not as nice.

The tennis courts, while not always the cleanest are good for a game.

Since my apartment is near the train tracks it cost less.

THE BAD:
There are roaches... it seems that they just come from in the walls. While it is not as extensive as some people would say, the complex does offer extermination on Fridays.

Apparently the gate and lights around the second entrance are both out due to a dispute with the power company. Up until this month they had never not worked for more than a couple of days but the fact that they havent resolved this dispute is upsetting

My apartment has a leak when it rains. This is in the vanity area of my daughter's room and the water comes straight from the wall. They get the water up and clean carpet there and even fixed the wall last time but dont bother to fix the cause of the problem or even take the time to check what it is.

Utilities are horribly expensive. We had a bigger apartment before and paid a third of the costs for water (A 2 bedroom almost 50.00 a month) Gas is also a ripoff with additional fees being paid to GA Power on the infinite energy bill and no matter HOW GOOD your credit is you will have to pay infinites initial 150.00. And my electricity last month' More than my old apartment where I didnt have to pay for gas as well!!!

Overall, had I known the high expenses associated with utilities I probably would have chosen a place that cost more to rent but was more efficient.

To the person who commented ont he pet deposit... it was high but it costs a minimum of 200 in most atlanta area apartments
