Where does one start? With all the broken things in the apartment that weren't fixed before we moved in or with the package that was stolen from the front door or with the drains that smell up the kitchen and bathroom? Suffice it to say we're glad we're only commited to a short-term lease.

The rent is inexpensive and the appearance of the grounds and buildings if okay. The problems were the busted light fixture in the foyer, the broken cabinet drawer, the dirty dish washer and molded windows all of which should have been checked out before we moved in. But then again it's cheap and you get what you pay for. I'm sure if it had been a complex charging $200 a month more for a comparable apartment, those problems probably wouldn't have existed. To the properties credit, they were corrected promptly when brought to their attention.

10 days after we moved in, we had a package stolen from our front door. There probably isn't anything that management can really do about things like that, but it ceratinly doesn't make you feel comfortable with your neighbors.

It really is a shame. We looked at a more expensive Equity Property and had lousy service at the office so we refused the apartment we were shown. We got great service in this office (Marion is a pleasure to work with) but the experience has been spoiled by all these other things.

When we leave here we probably won't be going to another Equity Property.
