If you're looking for something in a convenient location, a beautiful neighborhood, and a reasonable place, Paces Station is a good place to stay. I have been here for 1 year and have decided to resign my lease. The appliances in the apartment are somewhat outdated, but they still work. My dishwasher doesn't take Jet Dry, but it's not ancient, my refrigerator works, and I can cook on my stove. The countertops aren't granite and the cabinets aren't anywhere near new, but nothing in the apartment is raggedy or falling apart. I have three huge windows that let in a ton of light. The doors to the rooms are updated, they're the nice ones with the rectangles engraved in them, not just a boring solid piece of wood. I do live by the train tracks, but I'm use to it and the trains are not allowed to blow their horns so it doesn't bother me. I have never felt unsafe in this neighborhood or apartment. All my neighbors are young, single professionals and they're hardly ever home.
My only complaint is the disgusting wallpaper that was left in the bathroom and the kitchen. I was able to remove the wallpaper in the bathroom and paint, but I feel like that should have been done before I moved in. I don't know what the previous tenants were thinking.
If you want something new with all the pretty appliances, this is not the place for you. But if you want to live in a prime location at a reasonable price and in an apartment that has everything you need but may not have the latest and greatest of everything, check Paces Station out.
