Worst Ever From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/19/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I have been here seven months and it is seven months of hell. I will not be renewing my lease. Every night the people who live above me plod around like they are elephants. To be fair, people should be allowed to plod if they want to, but I shouldn't have to hear it. I hear their TV also. It is 12:45 AM and they are even now walking around the apartment like some kind of marathon. Soon they will go to bed, have some very quick sex and finally fall asleep. How do I know this' Because I hear everything that they do. Everything. The staff is very nice but they are unable to get manager to respond in a timely fashion. You are forced to hound them for a response to any issue. The rest of my neighbors are OK, but any time anyone wants to play a stereo I can hear the steady thump-thump-thump of the bass. Very annoying. This is no way to live. Security is a joke. People constantly prop open doors so friends can get in. Sad to say, but this place is a total ripoff. Obviously when building they "value engineered" everything. Paper thin walls, noisy halls and terrible layout - the walk I have from garage is unbelievable. I hate this place and I think it is absolutely horrible. I should have known there was something fishy when they wouldn't let me see my actual unit until a few days before move-in, nor would they even let me go up to see where it was in relation to the parking deck or the other apartments. I was an idiot for allowing myself to be taken advantage of like this. Never, never again. No place is worth it. If this ever happens to you, RUN don't walk to the exit. But in any event - ABANDON HOPE YE WHO ENTER PARK DISTRICT OFFICE LOOKING FOR RENTAL PROPERTY. The owners, builders, management should be ashamed of the inferior product they are foisting on people. Fourth rate and trashy.
