A slum in Buckhead

When I moved into this building, the management company was perfect. The building was maintained well, the management office was involved with the residents, and the people here were great. About a year ago, a new management company bought the building to convert it to condos. This is where things went downhill. About 60% of the tenants moved out immediately, and the condos weren't selling. The management company decided to run this is both a condo and apartment building, but haven't been able to get the residency needed to generate positive cash flow. Right now, the building has about 20-30% occupancy. With the lack of revenue, the building has suffered. There is no maintenance of either the public areas, or of the individual units; the "security" is a joke (read recent news articles about the murder here); and the management office has no clue what is going on. Finally, the criteria for renting the units has gone down far enough to where a number of the tenants here are on welfare and food stamps. If you're looking for a Buckhead living experience, find somewhere else.
