My husband and I have been living here for 5 years, and it was great when it was managed by Post. Ever since it changed to Park Point North Management it has slowly gone downhill. There have been cars stolen, spray painted, and our neighbor was held at knife point and robbed. This has all happened in the last 8 months (2005-2006). Management did not send out a warning notice until after our neighbor called and complained that we were never notified of these events. Our car was one of the ones spray painted. Makes me very nervous to walk around the complex alone, and worry I will wake up to spray paint on my car . We are currently looking for a new apartment home and hope to move out soon. Would not recommend living here unless you are part of a gang and like that lifestyle. Management is horrible and do not address these issues. Security gates almost never work.

The Management was aware of the incidents as related to the crimes in the entire Atlanta area. Management responded by sending letters door to door on how to help protect yourself and to contact local authorities when a crime is witnessed or happens. The specific car crimes that were spray painted resulted in Management acting on a lead by a resident that resulted in 5 arrests and confession to the crimes with the assistance of local authorities that caused damage on two different dates to both personal and community property. We apologize for any inconvenience to any residents personal belongings and are always looking for assistance from our resident population in solving issues at the community. Unfortunately this area like all other major cities have experienced an increase in crime and we would ask all residents to get involved in calling local authorities whenever a suspicious person or act is being committed

I've lived here during that same time period (2004-2006) and never once received a mention of someone being held at knifepoint. If I had, I would have moved much sooner. My car was broken into, as well as three other cars one evening, and it took a week for notices to come out regarding that incident...and of course it happened when the gates were not working either. Sales people will say just about anything to get you to believe things aren't really that way there....
