First the best: One hundred feet from my apartment is a grove with three blueberry bushes, a peach tree and three fig trees, all bearing fruit. I've had fresh blueberries on my cereal all month.

There is a small community garden where you can grow your own flowers or veggies. Lots of trees of many varieties. You can even find a shady parking spot sometimes. There is a butterfly garden near the office.

The management has always been very friendly and tried to fix any problems we had quickly.

The good: The place is quiet. Mercer University and Koger Center office park are the surroundings. Easy access to I-85 and I-285.
Dry cleaner/alterations on site. Three nice pools (one has been closed for minor repair).
Gated community. Many gas grills and gazebos available for cookouts. Buildings were recently repaired and painted (July 2006).

There are 2 fitness rooms with treadmills, ski machines, weight machines. Cable TV in the workout room. One of the rooms is right next to the laundry so you can work out while waiting for your clothes.

The neutral: Laundry uses smart cards so you don't have to worry about having quarters, but you have to remember to out money on the smart card when the office is open.

A fire station is next door, so we have quick response for emergencies, but there are fire sirens a few times a month.

The bad: The gates work only 70% of the time. When they don't work, the management leaves them open. It is sometimes hard for guests to get past the gate technology. There is a swamp behind one of the swimming pools. Some of the gazebos and bench swings are in need of repair.
Like all apartments there are bugs, even though the management has sent exterminators multiple times.

Some metal gates near the gardens are rusted or broken.
