Well, when I first moved in 2 months ago, I spent my first 2 weeks fighting roaches. But the office was VERY helpful and my apartment was sprayed regularly. But the 3rd week, I was roach free (also because I used boric acid on just about everything). But the problem was partly my fault because I switched apartments 2 days before move-in so they didn't have a chance to spray thoroughly.

Then I had some problems with the things falling apart in the apartment. They sent a VERY nice gentleman from maintenance to fix whatever was broken promptly. Then there was the trash...The trash compactor was broken for the first month I lived there. People would pile trash up around the broken compactor which is next to our mailboxes so imagine the smell when you went to pick up your mail in the afternoon. Maintenance and the establishment really wanted residents to walk to the other end of the complex just to throw away garbage. Mind you, this complex is almost 3 miles long. And the gates! They are so hood! Last night, I tried to use my clicker at the gate when my date was dropping me off at home and the dang on arm wouldn't lift up. So I had to politely say good night to my guest and walk through the gate. Embarrassing... Also, COMMUNICATION, PEOPLE! A fire happened and we didn't even receive notice. Water pipes have broken and continue to have problems and, although I came home to no water, I have yet to get a notice about it being shut off or anything even happening. I had to call maintenance several times to ask. They don't tell us anything when there is a problem. I asked a very rude staff member (an anomaly there) to send out a notice to the people in my building (20 apts.) reminding them to pick up after their pets. She acted as if I was nuts and she wasn't detaching herself from her brownie to send out 20 notices. I told her to just write a little memo and print it out on 20 pcs of paper and I'll personally deliver them (or she could have a maintenance person do it). She refused so I still have piles of dog poo lining the driveways.

GOOD STUFF - Plenty of parking near your place, fireplaces in some units, and if you get a later model, nice appliances. It's okay for me because I've made it comfy but I'm glad to be moving in a few months.

Why am I recommending this place' If you are like me and can deal with a few problems and just want a place to live that is safe and clean, this is for you. I'm happy here because it's not overpriced and people are generally nice. I hope that you found this helpful.
