My husband and I have lived in PPN for a year now, and we are overall pleased with our experience. We have not experienced many of the problems that other posters write about...our air works, no bugs, no problems with parking or our car. Our rent is well below the market value of our apartment b/c management honored a written quote they gave us 8 months before we signed our lease. We have received a resident referral fee, and our rent remained the same when we signed our lease for the next year. In addition, we received $300 off our first month of the new lease because we signed early. Our apartment looks out over the woods and is very quiet. We haven't had any problems with noise or unfriendly neighbors. They put in brand new carpet and vinyl flooring before we moved in and repainted all the walls. We have a fireplace and a covered back deck.
My only complaints stem from three things: gates, trash, and the pools. The gates work fine most of the time, but when they malfunction, it takes a looooong time to fix them. We have a swipe card and seem to have less problems than those with remotes. The trash compactor by our mailbox has broken several times, leaving an awful stench. Finally, as a former lifeguard for years, the pool is not kept clean to my standards. There are three pools, and only two are open. The ones that are open are not vacuumed regualarly. A little more maintanence would go a long way.
Overall, I have been very pleased with our experience. Our apartment is great for us, and we have had very few problems. When we bring a complaint or question to managament, it has been quickly resovled.

This must be the only one that feels good about this place; I have NEVER spoken to anyone that said they were pleased with their experience at this place.
