I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR A YEAR. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW DEPORABLE EVERYTHING IS GETTING. MGMT SAYS ONE THING AND THEN THEY SAY THEY HAVE NO AUTHORITY. PARKING IS HORRENDOUS, AND NO ONE IS WILLING TO MAKE A CHANGE. THEY SAY THEY STICKER AND TOW-DO NOT BELIEVE THAT.
OUTSIDE OF IMA THEY WILL NEVER OPEN THE DOOR OR HELP WITH PACKAGES. JUST A LAZY BUNCH OF BLACK WOMEN. ELEVATORS BREAK, GARBAGE WHEREEVER IT FALLS. PEOPLE HAVE NO CONCERN WHERE THEY LIVE. DOGS GO IN THE ELEVATOR AND STAYS. NOT MY TYPE OF PEOPLE.

To paraphrase: " just a lazy bunch of Black women." Hmmm. Now, lazy is undesirable in any package. And as a black women, I hate to see lazy black women b/c it sheds negative light on us all. But my question is:
Why did you feel it was necessary to mention their race? Does it make it more deplorable because they are lazy and black or do the two simply go hand in hand? If they were great staff and black would you have said " Fantastic and black? ? . Or if they were lazy and White, would you have said " Just a lazy bunch of white women" ?. Hmmm..... I doubt it. Your post may be telling ( and appreciated ) about the property. But it tells more about the property and the mindset of those who live there. I guess I should keep on looking for an apartment b/c I would probably not be welcome. It doesn't matter how well-paid, educated, dutiful, respectful and clean I am. I will be seen as possibly "just another lazy black woman." Thanks for your apparency on all fronts.
