I've lived here for about 15 months now. There are bugs everywhere. They say they will bring in exterminators but have never done so. They said they would clean the carpets if we renewed the lease. 3 months later and nothing. The office people are worthless and rude, and make me sick anytime I have to deal with them. The car wash is never on, the lights on the tennis courts are half out, there is never enough parking, there is very little grass anywhere, people follow you in the gates always, the security people dont do anything, the list goes on and on and on. The apartments were built in the 60's, so the windows all are drafty single paned pieces of crap, the power bill for the air conditioning in the summer is 250 dollars for 980 square feet where when the A/C isn't on, its only 50-60. If you aren't home when UPS or Fed Ex tries to deliver a package, they take it to the office. The office sends it back. They wont tell UPS to leave it at the door, they wont hold it for you until you get home, they send it back and you have to dtive to Doraville and wait in line for an hour to get your package. Nobody in the office responds to any of your concerns, they blow you off. I was even hung up on by the office manager when I asked to speak to someone above him. The brick on the side of my building is pulling away, and my balcony is attached with only 4 bolts to this very brick wall. So not only can mice, rats, squirrels, bugs etc get between the brick wall and the drywall inside, but when the brick falls, it will take the balcony with it. They wont let you keep a bicycle on the balcony, they wont let you put up window coverings, so youre stuck with the dollar store blinds they supply you with, which break when you try to lift them. Overall, this place sucks worse than any place I've ever seen. Please take my advice, pay a little extra and move into something that isnt a gables property, because they will do everything they can to take your money and run.
