Great! If you like rats, roaches, and imcompetency

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
I lived in this complex for three years. The first year was OK-- I was annoyed by the cheap appliances, but whatever. But then, things got worse:
1. Geese ---- everywhere and the complex does nothing to clean it up.
2. RATS. There is a serious rodent problem, particularly on hill side near the lake. We were driven out by a disgusting rat infestion, and the complex did little-to-nothing about it.
3. ROACHES. Especially on lakeside. My compulsively clean friend was driven out by roaches--I'm talking swarms.
4. Incompetent, rude, apathetic staff who do little to nothing to help. Their philosphy (and I was actually told this): "We're supposed to concentrate on new leases, not current residents."
5. Half the complex is populated by "new drivers" who will run into your car. Often. You'll be able to spot them, since they have all taped "new driver" signs in their windows.
6. Terrible washing machines that break all the time. Similarly, gym equipment is broken for weeks at a time.
7. Giant pitbulls, although they're "not allowed."
