Lived here 2 yrs. One of the most inexpensive 2br/1ba in the area. North Druid Hills is a great place to live. So far, I've experienced no crime here. However, heater/furnace goes out at least 4 times every winter. When we call maintenance the "24 hour wait time" is more like 3 days to a week, even if you are persistant and call every day. Lots of roaches (luckily, my cat kills them). Neighbors have been getting increasingly sketchy and loud, with unattended children running all over the road at all hours of the day and night. Goose poop is everywhere on the walking path. The pools are only open from late May to end of August, with frequent closings for "cleaning" that takes days and days before re-opening. Gates almost never work, and are constantly being repaired just to be broken apart again. Leasing staff is very nice, however the office staff that you will be dealing with is extremely rude.
