This is Roach Heaven

We moved in last year in a rush because we needed a place before school started. After signing the lease, I checked the reviews online, but ignored them because logically most of the people that post are people who are unhappy. HOWEVER THIS PLACE IS EVERY BIT AS BAD AS THE POSTS SAY ON THE SITE.
In the Winter, it's not so bad because the roaches live inside the walls, but now that it's getting warmer, they're coming out in greater numbers. We've tried washing everything down with bleach, spraying, Raid traps, called the building to spray several times, put down that white powder NOTHING WORKS.
The heater doesn't warm the place as it should in the winter, and it doesn't cool the place enough in the summer. We called to complain and they said, "What do you expect, it's a 50 year-old HVAC unit'"
Building management is pleasant if you don't complain, but once you do, then you're on their worst side.
NOW WE HAVE MICE and have no idea where they're coming from or how they're getting into our apartment.
STAY AWAY if you can. An extra $100-$200 a month is worth piece of mind.
