Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2009
I have been here since 2005 (bad divorce, close to work, all I could afford). I was fooled by the Gables insignia as well. I paid for private pest control to have peace and contacted HQ to combat the ignorant staff who thought they would push me around and override my expensive service with their spray "water". I had several problems with staff but once they realized that I would go to Gables Management, then they pretty much responded to my requests. I have noticed that the demograpics have changed but I never had neighbor, noise or crime problems. If I did, I wouldn't hesitate to call the police. It's cheap but it ain't free. In true Gables form, we got an "effective immediately" notice about Dekalb Housing Authority as the new owner. It can't be any worse...I should be in my own home by year's end...Hey,I saved money for a downpayment!
