I really enjoy living here, but there are some negative aspects. I know that as a reader, I always look for the bad things that people say and kind of ignore the nice things. I'm going to give you both.

The apartments are roomy! The floor plans are nice. We were really pleased with the condition of the appliances, floors, sinks, tubs, and counter tops. The master bath in our 2/2 is huge and even has a garden tub and the other bathroom (mine) is spacious - I really like it.

We're really close to I-85 which is good and bad. We never have to deal with the traffic on 85N because the exit from 285 is before the merge - it's nice to zoom by everyone stuck and not moving. It is, however, really loud sometimes. Sirens are common. There's the occasional horn-honking and also just the whooshing sound of cars on the highway. Sometimes there are traffic helicopters. In my opinion, the noise is the biggest downfall of the apartment location, but it's mostly ignorable. I'm sure this factor varies with the unit you'll be in. We're very close to the highway, so it's probably better farther away. I would choose this unit again because I like having trees outside my window. It feels private and I like that.

The best things are the management, the price, and the pool/fitness area. Seriously. The people in the office are great and they take care of whatever we need really quickly. The management has changed a lot since this place opened, but the current manager worked really hard to get our business and still works hard to keep us happy. I think that says a lot. The maintenance people aren't the best but they get the job done.

We moved here from the Perimeter Mall area and we're absolutely loving the price but we were really spoiled before with an awesome area. There's pretty much nothing around here. We drive several miles for the nearest clean grocery store and farther for any shopping or restaurants. It's annoying, but fine because we're happy with the price. The pool is really pretty! They have plants and decorations that make it look nice and provide some privacy. The fitness room is pretty big and the equipment and fans are really new - the apartment complex is still only a few years old so everything's nice still.

I don't feel like this area is dangerous. We're twenty-something women and most of our neighbors are in the same age group. We never hear anyone. The atmosphere is friendly and the parking lot is well-lit. We're not in a spot that's convenient to walk to, so we never see anyone around who doesn't belong. The security gates are good; you can't follow someone in. Someone wrote in an earlier review that their car was stolen - that could happen anywhere in Atlanta, but this area doesn't lend itself to that kind of crime. It's really just a comfortable place to live and we're very happy here.
