I heard about this site from a neighbor and decided to check it out. I have lived at Parkwood Place for almost a year and have enjoyed my stay here very much! I actually rented here because a friend of mine lived in this complex. The location is excellent, my apartment (1 bedroom) was in excellent condidtion when I moved in, the maintenance is friendly and prompt, the complex is beautiful, with a ton of flowers & plants, there is a picnic area with gas grills & the pool is always clean. I've lived at several communities in the Vinings area and I've had the best experience here at Parkwood Place.

There were serious issues with the construction this year, but were handled professionally by the staff - they always let us know what was going on and were very good about giving us the whole story. The construction was intense and sometimes inconvenient, but everything is fixed now and you can't even tell that there was a problem.

The gates break sometimes, but are always fixed within a day or two. I've lived at places where the gates were down for weeks at a time! Gates seem to be a problem at every apartment complex that I've lived.

I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live. I love my spacious one bedroom apartment and plan on moving into a 2 bedroom as soon as I get married in the fall. You should check out Parkwood Place if you're looking for an apartment in the Cumberland/Powers Ferry area.
