This morning a Honda convertible was vandalized on my floor in the parking deck. The top of the convertible was slashed and the seats were stolen from the vehicle. Can't imagine waking up and leaving for work to find that my car had no seats. When I left for work today I was greeted by two police officers investigating the crime scene as well as the owner of the car who was rightfully very upset. As I drove out of the parking deck I noticed another Honda convertible sat with it's top slashed. I'm not sure if the seats were stolen from that one too but I'm guessing they probably were.

This is just a taste of what you get if you make the mistake of signing a lease at Westchester Peachtree valley. As a very unhappy and very scared resident I urge you to look elsewhere. Car break-ins/thefts and/or apartment burlaries happen far too often at this complex. Management is clearly not willing to take the necessary steps (i.e. spend the necessary money) to keep us and our belongings safe because these crimes continue to be an ONGOING PROBLEM.

HA! I just got on here to post a review and saw that you beat me to it! Thanks for noticing my car! Both of our s2000's STOCK seats were stolen out of our cars! I am so glad they did at least $3,000 worth of damage to each of our cars to get $500 seats! JUST A SIDE NOTE-- The "surveillance cameras" don't really work well.. they aren't going to be able to get much of anything on it and, according to the manager, "act mostly as a deterrent". Well, I am sorry, but there should be an asterisk next to that when they advertise those worthless cameras. I was told they are 99% sure they won't figure out who did it and Archstone isn't liable. They claim to have 24 hour security, but the guard goes through the garage ONCE a night between 11pm-12am.. brilliant! My roomate noticed my top was up part way and told me around 3am but I was so exhausted from traveling all the day before I could barely understand her went back to sleep, thinking I was dreaming. I find out at like 9am that my car is broken into. The other s2000 owner noticed her car at 7am.. so, please explain to me, why none of this "24 hour security" noticed two convertibles with the tops ripped up for over 4 hours in the garages near the doors. I was told that to keep this from happening again, I should park closer to the camera and under the lights. So, I would love to know, are only a fraction of the residents entitled to the superior security the parking garage lights? If anyone knows of a good lawyer for this, please let me know. Their security claims are false advertising at best, if not, neglect for our safety. Oh, and here is the icing on the cake.. The woman with the other s2000 broken into, also had her apartment broken into in the past. Just makes you feel warm and cozy inside, huh?

Again I'm really sorry about your car. I think I saw you talking to the police when I was leaving for work. I am terrified living at this place and can't wait til my lease is up next year! FYI to anyone out there who is still considering living at this "community"....Below is a list of criminal activity at Westchester at Peachtree Valley in recent months.
