Avoid post biltmore! i have lived there almost a year and it is the worst place i have ever lived. the building is poorly built, yet they feel the need to charge a fortune. the past 2 weeks we had the fire alarms going off at all hours of the night - and not being able to turn them of for an hour because the only person with the code is the maintenace man who lives 45 minutes away. after a week of this and still no information from the staff i went down there to ask what they were going to do about the fire alarms, and they were all hanging out talking like it was no big deal, saying they hoped it would be fixed by the end of the week (and that was on tuesday). Needless to say, it was not.
i had to call the police twice on my drug dealer neighbor because people were banging on his door and screaming profanities in the hall at 5 in the morning. apparently many people had called the police on him, and i would have called more, but i was on overnights at the time. the staff said there was nothing they could do.
since living there i have run into numerous neighbors who hate living there as much as i do. when they built the place they did not put the proper insulation in the ceilings/floors so you hear every step the person above you takes. i have lived in old houses, old apartments, and new apartments and never had that problem anywhere else. and these places are aparently "quality" .
