The staff is mean and degrading. They try to get money in ANY way they can. They take advantage of younger girls and treat them even more awful. I lived there for two years and finally moved out. I went in for a new electronic pass becuase mine stopped working and the obnoxious guy gave me ANOTHER broken one. I pay WAY to much for this kind of treatment. Also, they kept upping our rent, every chance they got. I do NOT recommend this place. Couryard sucks...feels like a jail, and parking garage is UNSAFE. My boyfriends car got broken into twice within 4 months, and the second time it was totalled. This is a regular occurance because the staff is too cheap to hire a gaurd...

I think the battery just went dead in the remote - so just go ask for another one! They don't automatically know if the battery is dead by looking at it. I'm sure this wasn't done to purposely treat you poorly. They only up the rent once a year at most - we have lived here for three years and it has only increased once so clearly you may be embellishing a little. The courtyard is beautiful and has actually one architectural awards - no kidding. They have hired a guard periodically and locking your car may help!! And no, I do not work for Post but do enjoy living here and realize that as far as apt living goes, we have it pretty good here.

She didn't say she didn't lock her car, and hiring a security guard 'periodically' is a horrible response to crime. You need stability by hiring a security guard who has worked at the same place for several years and can be trusted.
