I'd like to stay but I can't afford it...

For the most part I like living here.

The location is excellent, and everytime I had a problem or question someone it was taken care of within 24 hours.

HOWEVER, the rent is just WAY too much for the size of the space I have.

I wanted to switch up to a one bedroom and they said they were starting at 1,000 a month!
They realize that they are pretty much the apartment complex left between 12th and 5th Street and they can charge whatever the heck they want.

My rent is going up nearly 100 bucks a month! I am NOT about to pay nearly $900 a month for a 600 sqft studio.

I can BUY a studio loft and pay 1,000 a month.

My only other complaint is the loud and obnoxious student population.

Too many GA Tech kids coming in late and drunk and having weeknight parties in the garden patio.

Why am I paying condo prices for a dorm room experience'
