This complex looks nice from the outside, but the total experience is horrible. The staff are ignorant, uncompassionate, and aggresive. There are two really bad apples that manage the building operations, and if a half-decent, customer-caring employee somehow lands in their staff, it isn't for long. The guys that run it harrass you, will run you down in the street with false accusations, and are deliberately aloof and rude. I hope that no one else has to deal with such a false and horrible time in renting when they are paying such a high fee to live in an over-priced, not-much-to-look-at complex. My roommate's car was broken into twice, the second time totally the car, and other residents sustained similar thefts, with no action taken by the building management besides sending a cop out the night after the incident. Wow. My roommate had $400 stolen from her as well. The apartments are small, smell, and have bug problems, especially on the first level. Druken party-goers and bums scream, sing, and laugh at the top of their lungs beneath your window every week night (11PM-4AM), except for the occassional quiet Monday night. Cars fly down the intersecting roads around your buildings at all hours of the night (and I do mean this, as I never hit the sheets before 12AM), revving their engines and sqealing tires. The aparent "deep clean" you pay for leaves you with a dusty and dirty apartment, with gross floors and strangely smelling bathrooms. Oh, and your rent is hiked every 6 to 12 months for around $100. And the late fee (which our awesome building management "accidentally" forgot to tell us about before we went out of town) is 10% of rent, and the building "managers" love love LOVE to screw you out of every dime they can. We had all our deposit money kept because our futon had left a 3-inch black mark on the wall. had I hope you weigh all of these reviews carefully before deciding to move into Post Biltmore, I'd hate for anyone else to go through this!

DO NOT LIVE AT ANY POST ESTABLISHMENT. Post is a garbage company. All their locations have the lowest level of security possible, making it virtually impossible to have a car parked in their garages. Over the course of 6 months my boyfriend was living at post biltmore, my car was broken into 3 times in the Post authorized parking deck. Post does not care. I have had over 3000 dollars worth of damage to various cars, another 1000 in stolen goods and have never seen one cent from Post, or any inkling that they are going to up their security. When I spoke to the post paid security officer he told me it "wasn't his job to babysit my car" and that i "should expect my car to get broken into while parking in midtown". He was completely rude and really captures the spirit of the Post company. Pay 1000 for your studio apartment and get your car broken into. Get harassed every time you try to walk around your neighborhood. Get woken up almost every friday and saturday night by screaming drunk out of control people. Get no help from Post. Period. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER POST!!!!!

If you thought for one minute you could live downtown and not hear noises you are very naive. You are also probably the type person that thinks just because there is a gate that nothing will happen to your car. Let's use some common sense here. I say move to the country if you can't handle city life.

I totally understand how PB will use any excuse to keep your deposit. I lived with two dogs in a 2 bed/2 bath a year ago, and when we left, they keep all of the pet deposit, the regular deposit, and charged us extra. When we asked for a list of items that we were being charged for, I felt ashamed on their behalf. The pet fee is supposed to cover any damage done to the carpet (though, really, the non refundable part is supposed to pay for the carpet removal and replacement that they must do). Instead, the kept the whole thing despite the dogs having done little to no damage to the carpet in general. Then, the listed off a bunch f random things, including blinds replacement, which is just silly when the blinds are also replaced every time and are very cheap anyway. The thing that made me angry, though, was the charge for "Extra Cleaning." My roommate and I spent 3 days cleaning the apartment before we left. Luckily, we moved into another Post Propery (Post Renaissance) and one of the leading agents told us she'd never heard of such a charge. We fought it with corporate, who backed down pretty easily, but they still keep all the deposits. Know going into PB that they're in it for the money and they'll get it whenever they can.
Now that I've said all that, I actually liked living at PB. I lived over Halo so the noise wasn't great, but I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me. My roommate hated the weekends though. The price is a little too much for the size (hence why we moved), but the location is hard to beat. You can seriously walk to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, Georgia Tech, etc., and you're a short drive from Atlantic Station, the Highlands, Little Five Points, and Downtown. I'd recommend living there if you have the money and want to pay for location. Just be ready to pay everything on time and to not get your deposit back ever.
