Good and Bad...

I've had an overall good experience at Post with a few hiccups. As a whole I find Post Properties extremely overpriced for the small spaces you get, and have not had a pleasant experience with the district office when I called with some general questions.

I can, however, say that I love the location and have always had a good experience with the maintenance staff. They are quick to respond to a request and always do a fantastic job. I haven't had any problems other than the occasional random maintenance.

My main concern with the property is the lack of support for alternative transportation. As someone who owns a bike, I am not able to get it inside the gate to keep it secure at night. I am anxious to see if Post works to resolve this issue as scooters and bikes are becoming more and more commenplace.

As far as noise, occasionally the over-enthusiastic Halo fan will be way too obnoxious, and the Biltmore Hotel (next door) has a bad habit of making some ridiculously loud noise every monday morning at 5am. Those things are definitely hard to sleep through...

DO NOT LIVE AT ANY POST ESTABLISHMENT. Post is a garbage company. All their locations have the lowest level of security possible, making it virtually impossible to have a car parked in their garages. Over the course of 6 months my boyfriend was living at post biltmore, my car was broken into 3 times in the Post authorized parking deck. Post does not care. I have had over 3000 dollars worth of damage to various cars, another 1000 in stolen goods and have never seen one cent from post, or any inkling that they are going to up their security. When I spoke to the post paid security officer he told me it "wasn't his job to babysit my car" and that i "should expect my car to get broken into while parking in midtown". He was completely rude and really captures the spirit of the Post company. Pay 1000 for your studio apartment and get your car broken into. Get harassed every time you try to walk around your neighborhood. Get woken up almost every friday and saturday night by screaming drunk out of control people. Get no help from Post. Period. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER POST!!!!!

I live directly over Halo and I often find myself wondering how those people can afford to go out every night. However, management will speak to Halo on your behalf and you can hear a definite improvement in noise for a little while. You have to do this ever so often, but they're more than willing to do it. Also, I seen a few motorcyles parked in the deck before and someone uses a scooter on my floor and park in quite easily. Overall, I like living here, though the price is a little too much and they do like to get as much money out of you as possible (through keeping your deposit to late fees).
