When it comes to maintenance, they are awesome, it ends there.
Rent is incredibly high. I was paying $1250 for a 900 square foot 1 bedroom apartment. When my lease expired, I went to the 60 day option at $1480 a month. The location is great, but...
In addition, upon moving out, I was charged $80 for "repairs" that were normal wear and tear. Half the charge was a painting charge. They paint upon a resident moving out anyway.
In addition, you are locked into DirecPath internet (unless you use DSL). While it is fast, I went from $35 a month starting in 2006 to $50 starting mid 2009. No comcast. The only HD option they have is DirecTV, and in addition to paying the full cost of DirecTV, you have to pay DirecPath for access to the Dish on the top of the complex (unless you have a balcony).
I lived on West Peachtree side, and across the street you get constant noise from the Bar as well as the new Hotel. If you live on the 6th street side, you get to deal with noise from Halo (a nightclub).
Visitor parking is always full at night due to people parking in the visitor spots and then going to Halo. Parking here is never enforced. In my 3 years of living there, I never once saw a tow truck tow anyone that was parked in the deck. In addition, they rent out the garage to the Biltmore employees during the day, so if you leave during the day, it is impossible to find a spot on the first 4 levels.
