I lived in this complex for 2 years. Know that you will later pay for the concessions they give you upfront. They will not hesitate to severely jack up your rent if you decide to renew.
Outside of this, parking was sufficient where I lived. The grounds are kept very clean, staff friendly, and it?s right next to Whole Foods Market which is a plus.
One thing that bothered me, I had to live with a very irritating ticking noise, it sou nded like water dripping...something to do with the way the apartment was constructed (the water pipeline). They never properly fixed it despite several maintenance visits, because it was a construction flaw.
Finally, when I moved, they told me that my furniture from Innovations (couch and loveseat) left a stain on the carpet, and because of this, they decided to keep my security deposit, which I thought was very unfair...especially since they steam clean the carpets anyway prior to moving in a new tenant. I do not like how they take advantage of tenant security deposits.
So overall, I?ve had good and bad experiences with Post Briarcliff. I am recommending this complex, although I definitely have some reservations.
