I have lived at this Post apartment for over a year now and my overall experience has been good. There are downsides. Yes, while the maintenance staff keep the grounds in pristine condition, they also cleaned up the debris from my accident (when a girl who was not paying attention at all DROVE into my STOPPED car) before the cop decided whose fault it was. We have a lot of poor drivers in this area as most are college kids (graduate, no undergrads allowed) whose parents gave them a car without really noticing if the kid actually deserved their license. The apartments themselves are fairly nice and clean. Parking can be a pain (those kids and some of the adults as well never learned what it means to park inbetween 2 lines). As my apartment overlooks the smaller pool, sometimes people throw parties in the area which can last past midnight. However, you can call Post security or the police and they are more than willing to come stop the party if your asking the host does not work. The staff at this complex is very inadequate. They say they will call you back and never do and then make excuses when you call back the next day still waiting for your answer. Don't make excuses, yes we're all busy, just say that I wasn't able to get in touch with you yesterday but I have the answer to your question now. Their making excuses just makes it worse. I don't want to hear how 2 minutes of how they're so busy they can't handle any other requests. Instead of blabbering on for those 2 minutes they could have answered my question and I could get back to my own work. However, compared to what problems exist in other communities, I would definitely say Post Briarcliff is better than the others around here.
