I moved in here with my family on Sept 2006. Our first 3 nights were ok. Suddenly, we were surprised by the sqeaky noises coming down from the ceiling everytime the neighbour living on top walks in his apartment. Another disturbing feature is that the community houses a decent number of students (we were told by the leasing office that they only lease to graduate students) that like to play loud music almost every single night. The walls in here transmit almost everything and you can hear your neighbour brushing his teeth and flushing his toilet, how about loud music. Friday and Saturday nights have been really disturbing. For example, our neighbours enjoy spending these two nights out, they come back home drunk, and start screaming out on their balcony at 4 am in the morning. It happened that one of my neighbours even mentioned that he is smelling what might be marijuana use. We really regret moving to Post Briarcliff. We were initially told that it is a good place to be. I guess that we should have read and believed the negative reviews posted on this website. Now we have to deal with the 2 months penalty fee if we decided to break our lease before its end in Sept 2007. It is a pity that such a nice place located close to Emory University turned out to be like this.

Isn't there a 30 day "satisfaction clause" in the lease whereby you can move out w/in the first 30 days w/o penalty? See if you still have time...
