i received a note on my door yesterday evening letting me know that there had been TWO ARMED ROBBERIES within the past two days in the complex.

interesting fact #1:
the two armed robberies happened on two separate days. AT THE SAME LOCATION. wouldn't you think post would set up some sort of security there as to prevent a SECOND PERSON robbed at gunpoint' call me proactive, but i think i would have tried to make that happen had i known...which leads to...

interesting fact #2:
post didn't notify anyone monday after the first armed robbery sunday night. they notified us Tuesday night. it happened at 9:30 pm Sunday evening which is scary enough, but that gave them an entire day (Monday) to notify people. instead, no one knew, and a second resident was robbed the next night (Monday) once again at the mailboxes.

interesting fact #3:
certain areas of the complex are completely crowded when it comes to parking because no one inforces visitor parking. near my building in the back of the complex, if you get home after 7:30 - 8:00 pm you can expect to park two buildings away. as a female, walking this late at night is scary. especially scary now that armed robberies are taking place INSIDE THE GATED COMPLEX. and especially since armed robberies are taking place WITHOUT RESIDENTS BEING NOTIFIED in a timely manner.

i'm pissed. you should be too. my lease runs out this year. i won't be renewing this time.
