There was a third robbery at gunpoint here at Post Briarcliff last night before 10pm. After the two last week, Post installed temporary and random security measures that had absolutely no deterrent effect on criminals (obviously). The reaction of the management has been shocking in their penny pinching - they will not hire full-time security, they will not pay temporary security guards enough to make it worthwhile for them to be here, and closed circuit televisions at the gates are too expensive. This complex is nothing special, you can get the same amenities for a comparable or cheaper price elsewhere. Live somewhere where the management values the safety of their residents above profit margins.

The robberies were in the parking lot and mailbox vicinity, but there were also several car break-ins and apartment break-ins before those. Since I posted the review, Post did respond to the security problems and implemented security guards at the gates after 6pm, and a guard that patrols the parking lot. So to be fair, management did respond to pressure from many residents. I have since moved out, but I don't think they have taken away the heightened security.

Can you please expand on the robberies- robbery of someones apartment ? someone walking to their apartment?
