We have enjoyed our stay

My wife and I for the most part enjoyed our stay this Post. The only complaint we had was parking. It seems like certain buildings have parking issues if you come home late at night. My experience with the management office has been pleasant. When we turned in our notice, the manager himself brought us into his office and offered to keep our rent the same to stay. The girl that leased us our apartment knows us by name and seemed in general to care about our well being.
Yes, there has been some crime on the property, but this is Atlanta. When we come home late at night there is a security guard that rides around on a golf cart. Things happen, at least they have made a effort in this area.
The previous post seems like someone who probably lost his/her job and didn't understand what it's like to live in a major city. Everyone has a right to his/her opinion, but some people just like to hear themselves talk. My advice, move out and go home to momma.

This message has been brought to you by the rude and unpleasant Post Briarcliff Leasing office. Remember our saying... All we care about is your money so don't scare off the new fish for us.....

to anyone looking to rent at Post Briarcliff, I do not speak with malace, just the truth. I have personally experienced the management and I can only tell you this: they're nice when they want to be nice and they're awful when they want to be awful. they have dozens of empty apartments and since they cannot force people to sign leases, they do their best to manipulate those that are already there to make up some money. rent has gone up 20-30%. when someone is about to leave and has their bags packed, this is when they offer to keep you there at the same rent. but if you come in several months early when they send you the renewal letter or they know you're gonna stay, good luck getting ANY discount. regarding crime, they used to have three security guards on carts 24hrs a day. they now have one that typically sleeps and every so often manages to drive around. he is about 50 years old, has no weapon and would be of little use to anyone in a serious situation. again, this is not malace, just the truth. take a look at some of the other reviews here. its not just dumb luck that their approval rating is 48%. most people leave after a year, two if they have no where else to go and more than that only if they're foreign or have families and can't just pickup and leave. don't get me wrong, its not a dump or a terrible place to live, but management and crime have been MAJOR issues here for a very long time and ben thurman is a slime ball. FYI, he has won several consecutive awards for the MOST INCREASE IN RENTAL FEES OF ALL POST PROPERTIES. they're in his office anytime anyone wants to see them. NO JOKE!!!
