I agree with most of the reviews here. It's not a bad place, but it's definitely very expensive. I used to feel like I was getting what I paid for, but now I'm starting to wonder. I've been here for over 3 years. I love the area, I love that the apartment complex is off of a main road. It feels more like a neighborhood than a lot of the other apartments on Peachtree.
The reason I renewed for a fourth year is that, for once, my rent did not increase.
The grounds are sort-of nice. The staff does a lot to plant flowers and trim hedges, but the residents absolutely refuse to pick up after their pets (most residents seem fall into the category of lazy college students/recent grads whose daddies pay for everything and have never had to lift a finger in their entire life). And they let their pets use the tiny little patches of straw right by the apartments rather than walking them the 15 feet to a grassy park area with plastic bags and a trash can provided- lazy lazy lazy. In the summer it's awful, because the feces everywhere really starts to smell. And the times I've called management they've said they'd send someone out to pick it up and then it takes days for them to respond.
Another complaint I have is about the staff. Maintenance is incredible. Quick to respond, always friendly and polite, and they do a great job. But the leasing office staff, much like the residents, seem very lazy and unwilling to help. I'm sure for a lot of them working at Post Brookhaven is not their dream career, but they don't have to act like I'm annoying the crud out of them when I call with a question.
