Train goes by 25 times in a day and can be noisy. use your judegment. property maintainenance is quite commendable though. The location is a prime one- close to all shopping areas and restaurants.

I currently live there and has been living there for the past one year. I dont think you have problems with 285 as Cumberland Pkwy intersects this property and 285. Train runs on the other side but barely it bothers you. I had an apartment on the side where train runs and lived there for 10 months. I never had problems with that especially with my sleep. Then I moved to different one because I needed bigger apartment. Its close to cumberland mall and other restaurants. Close to Cumberland transit center with frequent 20 mins ride to ATL downtown.

I will be moving out in two month. and have been living there for the past 2years. My building #11 , next to where train runs. And if not my rommates, i would move out long time ago. I the whole appartment is shaking when it's passing by. We have to adjust picture frames on the walls every week. I constanctly waking up during the night. And God help me if it is raining day, the train sound is getting even louder. Plus the Planes fly quite often. So all together adds up.The place itself is nice, maintenence is great. Parking: yes sometimes can be busy, but overall ok. management: use to be great, now is ok. One lady works there, her name is Linda, she sometimes do not get things right the way and also rude.About the price, I agree, they raise it quite a bit, it's easier to move in every year( to use the specials) So I guess if to make sure the building is distant from the train, it's pretty livable place.
