I ve lived in Post Crest for a couple of years, and I like living here. Yes, the train goes by several times a day. I have an apartment fairly close to the train, but it really doesn t bother me. The train never wakes me up (I guess I m used to it). I ll make one observation I haven t seen anyone else make -- Post Crest is very hot in the summer compared to some other properties in the area. I have friends who live in wooded properties in this area, and they are much cooler. The acres of black asphalt at Post Crest add several degrees to the ambient temperature. My air conditioning runs most of the time to cool my top floor apartment. The office staff is pleasant, the maintenance crew proficient, and the grounds are well maintained. I ve never heard any noise from another apartment. The people I've met here are very nice.
