I have lived in several apartment communities over the last fifteen years. The people that work in the office at post are the rudest I have ever dealt with, especially Rhonda, she has a major attitude problem. I believe people should not work in customer service related jobs if they hate the world. They are very bad at returning phone calls as well. -And forget trying to call corporate, getting a hold of them is even more difficult. I have called 10 times trying to get a hold of anyone that could help. I left messages each time and no one ever responded.
Parking is terrible. If you can find a space near your apartment, beware, the spaces are extremely small. My car has many door dings due to the lack space. Many of the roads that go throughout the community are too narrow and the turns are too sharp. It makes for difficult driving when two cars approach each other.
The rent is increased every year.
You can find better apartment complexes for the same price (or less). I intend on leaving when my lease is up this year.
The worst problem is that the entire community has major roach and palmetto bug problems! No matter how clean you keep your apartment they find a way in. Don't keep your door open for more than ten seconds! If you go for a walk outside around the complex at night you will see them crawling around all over the place. I had them spray my apartment and instead of finding live roaches I now find dead ones everywhere. Yay, that's sooooo much better, LOL. Everyday I find at least one and I am a total clean freak!!!!!
Then one day I had pest control come to my door and demand to inspect my apartment. There was some kind of very dangerous bug (she wouldn't tell me what) that had infested other apartments in my building. I told her that I had company and asked if she could return later. She said that the problem was too dangerous to wait and she needed to inspect my apartment immediately. It was a very urgent and crucial situation. She asked if I had been bitten recently. Luckily I hadn't and she didn't find any in my apartment, just all of my neighbore's apartments.
There is also a train that goes right behind the complex. It can be very loud and has disturbed my sleep many times.
When you first look at the apartments here they appear nice. Once you start to look closer you begin to notice the lack of quality. The walls are not even flat. When you try to hang pictures you will start to notice the major structural flaws. There are weird bumps and ridges under the paint of the walls.
I have a carpet seam running right through the middle of my living room. I couldn't notice it when I first moved in because they had disguised it somehow. One of the tubs has been painted white on the bottom (something else I couldn't see at first). It has started to wear off and looks horrible! Who paints the bottom of a tub with wall paint' I tried to take a picture of it, but it looks way worse in person! Also the drains are all rusty. The tubs and sinks have water stains. The faucets leak (maintenance can't fix them for some reason).
When I went to plug in my TV in my bedroom the outlet fell into the interior of the wall because it was not attached correctly. Also, when I plugged in my TV I noticed that I only got a couple channels, even though I got cable. I called the cable company and they told me that I had to pay them extra to get the line working. They said that usually the apartment community has all the lines working, but sometimes they do not. If they don't then the resident has to pay to have it done themselves.
I could go on and on, and on! Just do yourself a favor, DON'T MOVE TO POST CREST! You will regret it!

I have lived at Post Crest since 1996 and yes there have been some changes in the office, however, I feel as if the changes have been in the best interest of the property. This is Georgia, we all have bugs! Extermination is offered weekly at the property if you want it. All you have to do is call. The staff and maintenance have always gone over and beyond every time I have called. I am surprised they have not for you!! Wonder why??? The management has nothing to do with how resident???s park, it sounds like you need to talk with your neighbors. It's very upsetting that you are really the one that hates the world and not the Post Crest staff. They have a business to run and usually everyone that has something rude to say about a property probably did not get their way or they were charged for damaging the apartment. Trains, was the track built since you moved there? I don't think so! Wow, why go through life bitter. Just move if you are that unhappy!

I can tell the above response is from a staff of Post Properties. And I was wondering why their rent was lower now. Now I know and I will not move there. Thanks!

I totally agree with the original comments made person. Each and every point mentioned by this person are completely true. I wish I had seen this comment before I joined. Would like to add that the complex has dog poop everywhere as no one cleans up after their dogs and trust me there are a lot of dogs. Just waiting till my lease gets over to move out. - Sam.
