Remember that game you played as a child called the Chinese firedrill' At Post Gardens you'll learn a new game, I call it the American Firedrill. Here are the rules. It starts with ear piercing fire alarms that are hard wired into your apartment. These alarms might go off at 5pm, 12am or when you're really lucky, 4am. Whenever they go off, rest assured they will go off at least monthly. The game continues with the alarm going off for an unknown amount of time...sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes over an hour. Yes, sometimes over an hour. Then, once they're turned off, they'll often go off again...I call this THE AFTERSHOCK! Deafening enough for human ears, you're in for a bigger world of hurt if you own a pet. Management still hasn't quite figured out how to eliminate the American Firedrill from residents' lives, but they have figured out some other things. Great things such as how to charge over a dollar per square foot. They've also learned how to jack up those prices at renewal time. They're studies in how to try to charge you for normal wear and tear upon move out have also paid off handsomely. Further, they have mastered the art of thin ceilings so you'll know every step of your upstairs neighbor. Post has also worked in the game of musical managers so just as one person gets enough of an earful from residents, BAM! You've got a new manager to complain to who promises things will get better, but when they don't, there's an even newer manager to promise the very same thing. If you like overpaying for tulips and crown moulding, that's fine and dandy, but I think you'll feel different once you learn how to play the American Firedrill.

I completely agree! While the rest of the property is less than enjoyable, the fire alarms make everything ten times worse.
