Nice place -- but be sure its really for you - could be "Post High School"

Post Glen delivers a high quality product in line with the higher rents charged -- if that product is really for you.
The units are very well constructed (no noise or similar concerns), have high ceilings with lots of luxury upgrades & amenities.
The only negative w/ these townhome style apartments is the apartments lack their own hot water heater.
Some mornings when taking a shower I noticed a drop in pressure & barely lukewarm water on the 3rd floor.
Imagine trying to wash clothes or dishes w/ only lukewarm water! Be sure to relegate the clothwashing & dishwashing to off-peak or night hours to ensure hot enough water.
I was in the ı500 buildingı which is all studio & small 1 bedroom aptıs.
It may be likely that other buildings that have fewer apartments (larger 1 bedrooms or 2 bedrooms) donıt have this same problem, or if your apartment is closer to the ground floor.
Id ask before signing a lease, esp if you are in a studio/small 1 bedroom and/or a high floor.
The office staff is outstanding.
The property has 2 amenity-access gates for residents -- one to the neighboring Brookhaven park and the other -- which is by far the most widely used -- a walkway to MARTA rapid transit & easy-access to Brookhaven Bars/Pizza Places/Restaruants & watering holes.
All access gates have modern touch cards/scan cards helping this property earn a 5/5 for safety.
Its an appropriate place for a more in-town active lifestyle.
The townhomes are fairly close together & post attempts does a decent job of buffering the space between the units w/ top-notch landscaping -- but this is still a more urban complex.
The townehomes are set back & privacy /safety is still maintained.
Its too bad that some of the residents enjoy the local bars too much -- the swimming pool, Urban Vegetable Garden and Fitness Center are hardly used.
The vegetable garden only seems to only see attention from the grounds staff when its supposed to be for residents.
Most of the residents are younger professionals --a *small* handful of which are snot-nosed & make a big deal about living next to a bar & spend too much time drinking their time away using credit cards at the local gin-joints.
Some of this small handful never graduated high school from a maturity standpoint -- hence the nickname "Post High School".
But overall its a nice, younger professional set that lives here.
A nice place if high priorties include amenity-rich apartments next to MARTA, bars and restaurants.
If you are serious about wanting an Urban Veg Garden plot, using a fitness center, easy walk to MARTA from home or wanting the option of being able to book meeting space (leasing center has a meeting space avail for booking), this place is for you.
They have every amenity possible geared toward the working young professional.
Otherwise, look elsewhere & dont waste your time.
