Worth the money' Hmmmm

Ironically, I lived at this LOCATION when it was another apartment complex! (4120 Peachtree Apartments) which got torn down after Post bought the land, hence, Post Glen was built.
After the redo, a friend of mine had to go out of town for 3 weeks due to a family death, and I agreed to stay there and watch his apartment and cat for him as I was in the process of moving as well, and needed an "in-between place" for two weeks anyway.
I will say, they are nice apartments, and the residents were fine. Post has one of the very strictest screenings - actually a bit TOO strict. I have a 100% excellent rental history, but Post once declined my own application because my income wasn't 4 times the rent. GEESH! I've never been late on rent anywhere I lived, and if I made THAT much, I'd own a home in the burbs for crying out loud! Anyway... The grounds were very well maintained, and everything was spotless. Security seems just fine.
My only gripe with Post (aside from the income requirements to be accepted), are two things - the bedrooms are too small. His master bedroom was about the size of my 10x12 "office" in my home. Also, Post builds their apartments pretty flimsy. Noise seemed better controlled in these as opposed to other Posts I've been in, but, these are the types of places that on the news when you hear about an apartment fire, the whole darn building goes up in flames in 15 minutes. Post (and others) REALLY need to go back to the good old days when apartments had "real" firewalls in them, or at least consider sprinklers as an ammenity. Renter's insurance is your friend at Post or any of these wood frame places, folks.
Anyway.. just a rant on that. I know, not an actual resident testimonial, but I was there long enough to develop an impression. If you can pass Post's income test, have the money, and don't have a king sized bed, you should like it.
