I have lived here since january 2004.

This place covers all aspects of a great rental apartment.

Location:

A gated community In Brookhaven just north of Buckhead within the Atlanta Perimeter.

Large carpeted Apartments,walkin closets, and balcony's. Tiled bathroom's and breakfast bar's in the kitchen.

Jock's and Jills(sport's bar),Mellow Mushroom(Gourmet Pizza)starbucks, and Mangia 101(one of the best italian restaurant's in atlanta) all in walking distance.

Marta Station Half a block away, which can take you to the airport or downtown atlanta in 30 minutes.

Brookhaven Park is connected to the property.
While it has a softball field and basketball court, it is more used for dog walking and frisbee.

No assigned parking, but i have never had a problem finding a space close to my apartment in the 6 months living here.

A pool which gets pretty packed on weekends,
a tennis court which you want to sign up to play on in advance if you want to play between 7-9pm on weekdays.

Fitness center which has freeweight dumbells up to 65 pounds, resistance machines and a cardio room with about ten machines.

Urban vegetable graden where you can have your own plot space and grow your own vegetables. Not something that is interesting to me but different strokes for different folkes.

Very friendly front office staff. Consisting of Mandy,Jen,Cannon,and barbera.
All are very courteous and helpful.
Maintence staff is quick to fix problems.

The community is definetly on the young professional side. there are a number of family's as well but the majority of residence are between the ages of twenty two and fourty.
It is mostly a clean and noise free community, at the sametime being very social and fun on weekends.

Things to be considered when looking at Post glen as your residence.

It is Mostly a Caucasian community, but that is true with all of brookhaven. I am half spanish myself and look it, and i fit right in, as do other minorities that live here as far as i know.

If your straight out of College and looking for that college community, you would be better suited taking a look at Post Brookhaven, which is another Post community that has more of that type of feel.

If your a family with children and looking for a community where your children can growup with and play with other children, there are better options out there for those needs.

If you are ---, while i don't beleive you would run into any problems living here, it is a very friendly community.
You would defiantly have a fuller experiance living by piedmont park. Which has a rich --- community.
