Crime and Pets

I currently live in Post Glen and I just received a letter from the management asking me to pay an additional pet deposit ($1,000) because my girlfriends dog had been there for more than 7 days in the year! I have already paid the pet deposit for my dog.
It appears that with the economic downturn Post Properties is trying to find anyway that it can to increase revenue.
If you have a significant other or friend with a pet I would recommend checking out Lincoln Properties, which is much more accomodating! They understand that it is obsurd to pay the ridiculous pet deposit to have an additional animal in the apartment for a few days a month!
On another note, since I have lived at Post Glen (Aug 08)there have been numerous apartment break-ins and I have seen multiple hookers and a coke dealer arrested.
The coke dealer lived in the apartment complex and kept guns in his garage.
After these activities management has not done anything to make me feel safe in my own apartment! The criminal activity at Post Glen has increased in the last few months and I am going to get out of here as soon as I can.
